SRRC 2024 SPRING CONFERENCE | Grand Bohemian 

The SRRC Spring Conference is here and we are so looking forward to seeing all of you this week!

The information below contains important details about your attendance at the event and, therefore, it is recommended that you review it carefully. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to us. 

Hotel:

Grand Bohemian, 325 S. Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801 

Check-In is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. For those arriving early you can leave your bags at the front desk and join your meeting sessions on time! Some of the board members will be arriving on Monday so be sure to say hi and get to spend some time together. 

The event will be held at the Grand Bohemian located in Downtown Orlando. Distance from the Orlando Sanford International Airport is 22.5 miles and an easy Uber ride. Coming from the east coast you can easily jump on the Brightline Orlando Train. If you are driving in plan to park a car, note that there is a $35 valet parking daily fee. 

Social Gatherings, Registration, and Meeting Room Locations:

Tuesday, May 7th

Registration will be open 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the Centre Gallery downstairs in the conference area.

Corporate Roundtable will take place from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the Kessler Board Room downstairs. 

Networking Social begins at 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Altira Rooftop Pool & Lounge. Dinner will be on your own, only light apps and drinks will be served. 

Wednesday, May 8th  

WERC Foundation Walk meets at 7:00 a.m. in the lobby.  We will do a short 30 minute walk so you will have plenty of time to get ready for our day of education and networking.

All daytime events will be held in the Johann Strauss Ballroom downstairs in the conference area. 

• Breakfast 8:30 a.m. - 9: 15 a.m. 
• General Sessions 9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. 
• Lunch 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. 
• General Sessions 1:15 p.m. -  4:30 p.m. 

Roaring 20's Dinner and Entertainment will take place back in the Johann Strauss Ballroom from 6:00 p.m. until the dancing, singing, and costume contest commence. Bring your best 20's costume to win a prize. 

Dress Code:

Arrival and reception - Florida casual, shorts, t-shirts, sundresses, and flip flops are encouraged.

WERC Walk - bring your sneakers, exercise attire, and water. 

Educational Sessions - Business casual

Roaring 20's Dinner - Don your glad rags, mob squad flapper attire and bring your glitz and glamour to step back into the Jazz Age. Costume contest and prizes to be given out!

VERY IMPORTANT

We will have the full agenda and timing of events on the back of your name badge, so don't forget to pick that up at registration. Bring plenty of CASH for our 50/50 raffle in support of the American Heart Association. Bring your swanky costumes.
